All wärld besinna

"The music is not in the notes, but in the silence between."
- W.A Mozart

From James Blake, to Peter Broderick and ambient-artists such as Antonymes och Blamstrain, my latest mix is a short story about music, which takes off where I left in previous mixes such as Midvintersol and Kom nu, Vind! (both released in 2015).

My aim was to create a thoughtful collage, honest and simple. I hope you enjoy it.

Kom nu, vind!

Kom nu, vind! by Suecae Sounds on Mixcloud

Come now, wind! is a poetry inspired mix of some of my favorite music, a follow up to bordering between neo-classical, ambient, hints of jazz and sound experiments, all while focusing on labels such as Serein and Erased tapes.

The title is a reference to words by german poet Johann Christian Friedrich Hölderlin, associated with the artistic movement of romanticism. In a book by Aris Fioretos, Kom nu, eld! he translates and interprets Hölderlin in swedish.

This is a dialouge between the world and music, which is related to poetry and all reference the nine daughters born of Mnemosyne and Zeus, the Μουσα, godesses of dance, music and a source of insperation to poets.

Interviewed on Flight of Hermes

I was recently interviewed by Soror FSO, who has been a dear friend of me for several years now. The interview is focused on the parallells on music and esoteric spirituality, and also brushes on what can be seen as the deeper aspects of my EP Alpha 3. Read it all here.

* Hermes was in greek mythology and pantheon considered to be the messanger of the gods. Flight of Hermes publishes articles about esoteric beliefs, connected to the syncretic practises associated with the Hermetic order of the Golden Dawn and the orders that draw on its legacy today.

Alpha 3 Out Now!

Today my newest EP just went live. It is called Alpha 3 and is available for listening and purchase through Bandcamp. It represents the pinnacle of my works written during 2012. Rewritten, finalized  and mastered 2013.

There has been many, long nights writing these musical pieces. All of these works have been available for listening through my Soundcloud, but the tracks have been rewritten and remastered to fit into this conceptual whole. Feel free to listen to Apha 3, feel free to tell me how it makes you feel. It's audible announcment can be found here.
