Tomorrow the twin birch in my back yard will be cut down due to it being rotten in the stem close to the ground. I've grown very fond of this specific birch, which has always stood there reaching high up for the sky for as long as I've lived here on Norrstrand. But tomorrow is another day.
Today she reaches for the sky.
Today she kisses the sun.
Soon she will welcome the moon.
So today I want to dedicate this post to a tree that learned me to see nature with different eyes then I used to.

That is lovely! Vicki at Nolly Posh did a tribute to one of her trees as well. They truly do become friends and confidants over the years, don't they!
Ohh...that is so poignant and sad...beautiful.
Oh, I'm sorry you're going to lose your tree. I feel very attached to them.
That's quite sad to see it go...but it's better safe than sorry they say...Glad you took some pics for fond memories! ~XO*
Thank you all. Yes, I will have many images to remember this tree by. That's comforting.

I will look up Nolly Posh, if I can find the blog in question. :)
Tråkigt, men samtidigt en del av livet. Fina bilder i alla fall.
Tack för fin kommentar!

Det är ju det. Man kan ju hoppas på att där snart kommer att sträcka sig upp ett nytt träd.
The bokeh are very nicely captured here. The beauty of nature is shown vividly here
what a lovely tribute to your beautiful tree friend. I dread tree removals as well :(
Thank you for stopping by place and for the kind comments :)
